Compression therapy bandaging

Ambulatory compression therapy (or bandaging) is used for an open leg or fluid accumulation in the leg. This helps the calf muscle to drain excess fluid.

What does compression therapy do?

The bandages are applied firmly. This is done from the toes to the knee. Through these bandages, the calf is optimally supported and excess fluid is drained through the veins.

The bandage will need to be changed about 3 times a week.
